Sedona is about an hour and a half north of Phoenix and 20 to 30 minutes from Cottonwood and Campe Verde. Known as the uptown district "Sedona" theres plenty to do in this charming desert town. Its a bit cooler at above 4,000 feet of elevation and seems to be a great place for tourism. Sedona restaurants, galleries, spas, wine vineyards and for the outdoor fans: Hiking, birdwatching, picnicking and much more!
My visit to McDonald's with Teal Arches?
While heading on a drive from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon, I remembered a story about the McDonald's without the golden arches in Sedona was requested by the city to be changed to the color teal in order to blend in with the cities natural buildings and color. An since 1993 it is the only McDonald's in the world that doesn't use the signature golden arches. It was great to experience but inside it was just a regular McDonald's.
