89 Agave Cantina in Sedona, AZ
During my visit I decided to dine at 89 Agave Cantina for dinner. Its a local spot that's specializes in authentic Mexican and is made in house. Overall? I was far from dissapointed. It's a nice cozy restaurant that's super clean and very welcoming. I looked at the menu and decided to go with fajitas with chicken as my protein. My entree included "sizziling" hot fresh onions and bell peppers with toppings of sour cream, Sonoran guacamole, shredded lettuce, Pico de Gallo lime wedges and flour tortillas.
What I loved most is that everything and I mean everything was seasoned to perfection. There was a remarkable flavor in each bite, almost like a burst of joy and happiness in one meal. The chicken was super tender and mouthwatering as were the trio of peppers and fresh cilantro that sizzled and danced. As seen below
The tortillas weren't to thick (which I loved) and the guacamole, diced tomatoes were all fresh and delicious on the side. I definitely think its worth a visit if you haven't been. My dish was 24 bucks which isn't to bad for what I was given. Everything is made in house and with fresh ingredients, so I figure why not especially since it's local right? I definitely enjoyed my night and look forward to my next visit.
